Definitely not. I only do diagnosis/prescription in my own Oregon clinic. My online sales are to responsible adults who already know what they’re looking for. By offering what I hope are quality supplements at what I feel are fair prices, the service I offer is to reduce conflict-of-interest and price gouging in areas without competition. When anyone contacts me via e-mail, internet, or phone for prescription-type consultation, I direct them to seek out a local, qualified practitioner. That being said, I find for a lot of sub-clinical complaints that most reasonably intelligent adults are capable of picking safe, effective supplements for their needs. I’ve seen no research showing that there are superior results with clinical TCM differential diagnosis.
